“Gone too Soon”

This class begins January 28, 2016. Classes meet on Thursday evenings, 7-8:30 p.m.January 28 through March 24, 2016.


This is a 9-week program of grief recovery classes is designed to help parents who have experienced the death of a child at any age. You will learn valuable tools and gain support to help you as you are traveling the difficult path of grief after the loss of your child. 

The program is fully funded this year by a grant from the Lexington Medical Center Foundation. It is free of charge, but pre-registration is required to reserve your place.

"St. Andrews Church Grief Recovery"

This program meets on Wednesdays. A new date will appear soon.

 

The journey through grief after the loss of a loved one can be very difficult. While every loss is different, and every individual grieves in his or her own way, grief shares common characteristics and feelings. Grief Recovery provides a place where participants can know they are not alone and can gain support and valuable tools to help while navigating the challenging path of grief. Grief Recovery is open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one.

"Finding Your Way after the Suicide of a Loved One"

This program is held the 2nd and 4th Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. beginning January 25, 2016 and runs through May 23, 2016.

This is a 9-week grief recovery program designed especially for individuals struggling with the loss of a loved one to suicide.  This compassionate, faith-affirming and supportive recovery program will help you or someone you know to navigate the journey through grief, particularly during the first year after a loss to suicide. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited to 12 participants. To be eligible for the program, you must have experienced your loss at least three months prior to the start date.

 

Registration is required. Registration fee: $35 per person/ $50 per couple.
