The journey through grief after the loss of a loved one can be very difficult. While every loss is different, and every individual grieves in his or her own way, grief shares common characteristics and feelings. Grief Recovery provides a place where participants can know they are not alone and can gain support and valuable tools to help while navigating the challenging path of grief. Grief Recovery is open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one.
This 8-week program is offered by St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Irmo and is co-sponsored by “Joy in the Mourning”® Center for Life Losses. The program is free of charge. New participants may join at any time during the 8-week cycle.
